Jim Loughrey, President and founder of the LINK Corporation has been in the lighting business since 1969 when he was USA National Sales Manager for Strand Electric, a manufacturer and distributor of theatre lighting. He then founded and was President of Stage-Brite, a Manufacturer of Theatrical and Architectural Lighting Control Systems. Jim  Built the company to $1.5 Million in sales when it was sold to Sterner Lighting, Inc. in 1982.  Stage-Brite provided systems for the Minneapolis Orchestra Hall, the Library of Congress Washington DC, the FBI Building Washington DC, the World Trade Center in NYC, 15 Professional Theaters in Chicago, the University of Minnesota Rarig Center, the Hartford Civic Center Hartford Connecticut, and High Schools, Colleges and Universities all over the U.S.

As Vice President and Regional Sales Manager of Sterner Lighting, he was responsible for All Products, Outdoor, Indoor and Controls. He worked in all 4 U.S. regions, Canada and Mexico with Sterner Subsidiaries.

In 1989, Jim founded and is President of the LINK Corporation . Jim holds several patents on the LINK computer controller and fixtures.
